I’m delighted to share some great news with you. The number of cases where we have achieved a massive saving on slip/trip claims has increased substantially. This is where insurers have paid out a much smaller sum than was expected and it has been achieved by a number of our shop customers who have followed advice previously given and engaged positively with people who have genuinely slipped/tripped in their shops. The victims were very well attended to, properly cared for and contact details taken and later contacted. Following the later contact, medical invoices and receipts were obtained and the retailer paid the compensation directly to the victim who was unaware that the insurer immediately compensated the retailer under their policy cover. The amounts paid out in these instances are quite simply a minute fraction of the costs that would otherwise been encountered had the victim sought and obtained legal advice.
