Is there anything that I can do to prevent my premium from increasing?

 There are many actions with little or no cost that can be done.

 Tip 5 – Theft

 Have you fitted a controlled access lock to the door leading to your stock room? If so, is it always used?

 Do you know that every insurance policy, (no matter who you insure with, does not cover theft of Stock stolen unless there is forcible entry, violence or the threat thereof.

 Too often we hear of and indeed see doors fitted with such locks propped open by staff to allow “convenient access” particularly during deliveries. Most incidents involving theft of this kind are just after deliveries have been received.

 Cigarettes are the highest target here, but in the current climate nothing is unworthy of being considered a target!

 Be diligent – make sure your staff are instructed and trained appropriately.
