If you are self employed or you operate as a legally established sole trader, you are eligible to take out a Personal Pension Plan. A Personal Pension Plan can also be taken out by individuals if there is no pension scheme already in place.
This plan is designed for employees of companies who are assessed for tax on a PAYE basis. Setting up an Executive Pension Plan requires the co-operation and the consent of the employer, but may be set up for an individual or a number of employees. Your employer must contribute at least one sixth of the cost of your Executive Pension Plan.
The AVC pension plan provides members of existing Pension Plans and schemes to pay additional voluntary contributions (AVCs) in order to top-up their pension arrangements in a cost effective way.
If you are an employer seeking to put pension arrangements in place for your employees, TIS has a range of flexible plans to meet their needs. Our administration systems are designed to make company pension provision as efficient as possible, and your employees can also be provided with a range of Life cover, PHI and AVC options.
Personal Protection
As with planning for retirement the emphasis is on you to make sufficient provisions through Personal Protection for yourself and your dependants.
